------

In this move you momentarily let go of the cup you are holding. The striped cup still flies from the right side to left side and back again. The black cup is always thrown and caught by the right hand. The white cup is always thrown and caught by the left hand.

The white cup is in your left hand. The striped cup sits in the black cup. The black cup is in your right hand.

Swing your right hand up and to the outside, clockwise, for the first half of the Outside Release.

Let go of the black cup when your palm faces up.

The striped cup flies up and over to your left hand while rotating once and nestles into the white cup. (see photos)

The black cup flies freely, higher than the striped cup and returns to your right hand after making one revolution. (see photo)

Swing your left hand in a counterclockwise rotation for the Outside Release with your left hand. The striped cup flies over to the black cup in your right hand. The white cup returns to the left hand. Both cups spin once while they are in the air.
